The festival’s sixth edition counts with many international guests, amongst juries, producers, programmers and journalists.
- ‚ Lucki Stipetic, producer of Werner Herzog’s films (Independent Hero) and his brother.
- ‚ Grazia Paganelli, curator Werner Herzog’s exhibition ‚ at BES Arte & Finança ‚ commissioner of the German filmmaker’s retrospective and author of the book Signals of Life ‚ Werner Herzog and the Cinema (IndieLisboa/ Edições 70).
- ‚ Jacques Nolot, Independent Hero.
- ‚ Manoel de Oliveira [photo], for the portuguese avant premiere of his recent film, Eccentricities of a Blond Girl, shown on April 28th.
- ‚ Christine Molloy and Joe Lawlor, also known as Desperate Optimists, directors of Helen (international competition) and authors of Civic Life (project of shorts, Emerging Cinema’s highlight).
- ‚ Ivo Ferreira, director of April Showers (national and international competition) and of Go With The Wind (national competition).

There’ll be present at the festival many others directors, counting with all the Portuguese ones, which come to present IndieLisboa09’s sessions, as well as accompany the debate that’ll follow the screenings.
